In 2010 Robert assisted in reviving the Concordia Gesang Verein German singing group that was originally formed in the 1860s.

He performs for various local events around Bellville Texas such as The MS150 bike race.

Each year he performs at Santa's Wonderland in the Bryan-College Station area. He plays the accordion and fiddle for the event that is held from Thanksgiving until New Year's playing music for approximately 100,000 people who go through the Wonderland of lights on hay rides. Robert also teaches Violin and Guitar.

Robert has been a member of the Enzian Buam since January 2013.
